MANIFESTO ON MODERN
DESIGN PRACTICE
This manifesto on modern design practice takes the form of a satirical graphic kit.
The design intention was not to propose answers, but to create moments of conscious action by promising tools and delivering only ethical discomfort—reminding the viewer that "you are the tool”. Through a unified system
of design, writing and illustration, the manifesto unfolds across a set of graphic pieces: a bold statement poster, an unfolding mini-zine, stickers for sharing, and a receipt listing costs and side effects, all held together by an envelope. Recognizing ourselves as the fish
in the bag is the first act of agency.
